Описание: Jhal Magsi is a town in Jhal Magsi District, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is a purely Baloch area and was part of the Kalat native state during the colonial period. The town is the headquarters of the Magsi tribe, the major tribe within the district. Historically, the Magsi are a branch of the Lashari tribe. The district has two main towns, Gandawah, the administrative centre and Jhal Magsi; and is divided into two subdivisions: Gandawah and Jhal Magsi. The district has a hospital which was built by the government of Punjab to help their Balochistan brothers.
The predominant religion is Islam (98.7%), although there is a minority (1%) of Hindus. The most common first languages are Balochi (69%), Sindhi (21%) and Saraiki (8.2%).

This racing event is a regular one and takes place every year during winters in central Balochistan, Pakistan. Racers compete on a 220 km track and the race has been divided into 2 stages, where the starting point would be Stage 1, ending at 78 kms and drivers can take a break. The Stage 2 will be of 142 kms. With more than 50 participants, Jhal Magsi rally have 9 categories, which are Prepared Category A, B, C, and D, Stock Category A, B, C, and D, and Women Category.

Jhal Magsi desert is considered to have one of the best racing tracks in the whole country. From the muddy terrain to gravel and waterbed, Jhal Magsi gives a thrilling experience of rally driving. Started back in 2005, the Jhal Magsi challenge has completed its 14 years and has evolved with great and renowned racers taking part in it every year.

National Motor Sports hosted the Jhal Magsi Desert Challenge 2018 from 13th-16th December where 4×4 SUV racers came to race from all over Pakistan. Chief Minister Balochistan was the main visitor in the last service of Jhal Magsi Desert Jeep Rally 2018 while a huge number of individuals enamored with racing participated in the last day of racing. More than 60 drivers and globe-trotters from the nation over have taken interest in the Jhal Magsi Desert Jeep Rally however, this time, Nadir Khan Magsi remained triumph in the pre-period A-Category and won the rally. Babar Shah from KPK was on second position while Asif Faisal Chaudery secured the title of third position holder.

Jhal Magsi Desert Jeep Rally 2019 Results:
DERA MURAD JAMALI: Jhal Magsi Annual Desert Jeep Rally 2019 concluded on Monday.

Zain Mehmood, Noman Saranjam, Makhdoom Ali Shah and Zafar Khan Baloch have won four different categories of the rally in which 74 drivers contested in the 225km track.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani had kicked off the jeep rally on Saturday.

A special track was prepared for the combat. In the first phase, 45 vehicles contested, while final round was played between 29 drivers.

According to the final scorecard, Zain Mehmood was on top in the A category, Sahibzada Sultan came second and Jaffar Khan Magsi secured third position.

In the B category, Noman Saranjam got first position, Malik Riaz stood second and nobody could qualify for the third position.

In the C category, Makhdoom Ali Shah was on top, Mukesh Kumar came second and Gohar Sanjgi stood third.

In the D category, Zafar Khan Baloch won the title, Falak Sher won second position, while and Mohammad Sadiq came third.
