Today, something special happened at our Friday make-up Taekwondo class.
Only one 5-year-old student showed up.
Instead of canceling the class, our five young leaders decided to make it the most fun class they could ever have.
They trained with him, played games with him, and even pretended to be “defeated” so he could celebrate like a champion.
This student has worked very hard. When he first started training, he had difficulty hearing instructions. Over time, with practice, patience, and encouragement, he now responds to commands much more clearly and confidently. We are very proud of his progress.
Sometimes the smallest classes create the biggest memories.
At Family Taekwondo, we believe every child matters.
Even if there is only one student.
