We typically fertilize and prep the garden & green house for spring in mid to late March, focusing on building a thriving garden by incorporating chicken manure, straw, and key nutrients. Cleaning out the chicken coop and using that + adding additional fertilizer, blood meal, and bone meal to the garden is a great place to start spring garden prep. 🙌🏻

🐔 Chicken Manure: Packed with nitrogen, it enriches the soil, promoting lush foliage and strong plant health.

🌾 Sraw: A natural mulch that helps retain moisture, suppress weeds, and gradually add organic matter to the soil.

🌿 Nitrogen: Essential for leaf growth, it keeps plants looking vibrant and healthy.

🍃 Potassium: Supports fruit and flower development while enhancing disease resistance and overall plant health.

🌸 Phosphorus: Key for strong root systems, it ensures plants can effectively absorb nutrients and stay stable.

🦴 Bone Meal: Provides phosphorus and calcium for robust roots and structural support, benefiting flowering plants.

🩸 Blood Meal: A high-nitrogen source that kickstarts early growth, promoting healthy vegetative development.
