Low Light test of a what I believe to be a later edition of the SMC Takumar F2 55mm because of its very similar the Pentax A and M 50mm lenses with a rubber grip. Unlike my 55mm F1.8 this version is sharp wide open. For focusing the rubber ring works really well.
The Footage
Pushed ISO to high 1600 to 3200 to keep shutter of 1/50
Over graded and compressed
Used tripod as should rig, worked ok
The Strong
Sharp at F2
Good saturation and contrast
Solid build with metal, glass and rubber
The Meh
Only goes to F16
The Poor
55mm is too narrow on a APS-C Sensor
Possibly Radioactive
The Result
I really like this lens wide open, get this lens and then slowly die
