C.P.E. Bach's concertos, written around the mid-18th century, mark a stylistic transition from the Baroque to the Classical, characterized by expressive melodies and innovative structures. Haydn's cello concertos, especially those in C major and D major, are quintessential examples of Classical clarity and balance, combining elegance with technical brilliance.
