Here is footage from my time at Group W Cable local access TV in Kirkwood, Missouri. Johnny Bench played his last game in St. Louis at old Busch Stadium on a Sunday afternoon, September 4, 1983. I included all the raw footage at the beginning. The actual presentation starts about 2 minutes in. The camera conks out at the end due to battery or the heat, I can't remember which, ha. This presentation took place before the game in which he did not start. The Cards were winning 4-1 in the top of the 8th when Johnny pinch hit and blasted a 3-run game tying HR off of Hall of Fame closer, Bruce Sutter. The Cards came back and won in the 9th on a base hit by Willie McGee.
