Описание: Take a quick video tour of Sylvan Campsite and campground. The site is located close to Kinloch and Glenorchy. Its a great homebase for Mount Alfred, Rockburn, Sugarloaf, Routeburn, and Lake Sylvan tracks.

Review:
Absolutely beautiful campground surrounded by mountains and near a clear rushing river-quintessential New Zealand. This is a great homebase for many nearby tracks. The bathrooms with sinks are much nicer than you'd typically find in a self registration campground.

Sites are large and there are generous grassy areas so that people staying in tents have a place to pitch.

On the downside, during our visit we were absolutely mobbed by normal flies and bees, with a few sandflys thrown in. We've seen plenty bugs in our 6 week tour of New Zealand, but this was so bad that we left and drove down to Kinloch. I'm sure the bugs are very seasonal problem but with as windy as it was we were very surprised to still end up getting swarmed.

-Plenty of great spots for tents
-Unpowered
-Water on site-Must be boiled

-Must pack out trash
-Lots of bugs
