KOSPI recovers 3% to climb back over 4,000

The benchmark KOSPI index gained ground on this Monday following last week's tumble over fears of an AI bubble.
The index closed at 4-thousand-73-point-24 regaining three percent after plunging past the 4-thousand mark last Friday.
Shares of Samsung Electronics rose over 2-point-2 percent to surpass the 100-thousand Korean won mark again.
Shares of SK hynix also soared above the 600-thousand won mark.
Meanwhile the local currency strengthened slightly against the U.S. dollar trading at 1-thousand-4-hundred-51 Korean won at the day's close.
