Описание: U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), Chairman of the Senate Commerce Subcommittee on Aviation, Space and Transportation, discussed with National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy discussed the findings of the NTSB's investigation into the midair collision at Ronald Reagan National Airport on January 29, 2025, that revealed bureaucratic systems and ignored past near-miss collisions that led to the deadly crash. Sen. Moran and Chairwoman Homendy also discussed what actions are being taken by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Transportation to implement recommendations by the NTSB.
