1. What if your address has changed?
If your address has changed since filing your tales and it says that you will be receiving a check in the mail make sure to go to usps.gov
This way the post office can forward your check to correct address
Right through the official government

2. If you are deciding to what for paper checks you may have to wait a while
According to the secretary of the treasury in a CNN interview yesterday, the IRS hasn't started to send out any checks yet and they want people to use the online tools

3. Rumor that the stimulus check is taxable
This is not true. The IRS says that this is a tax credit which means that it is not taxable

4. Rumor that you have to pay the money back
You do not have to pay back any money from the your stimulus check
Also it is reported if you get overpaid and the wrong amount then you don’t have to pay any of it back
Example:
If you weren’t supposed to get one but you did

5. The Get My Payment Tool
If you are receiving SSI benefits, SSDI benefits, VA benefits, or Retirement benefits the get my payment portal may not work for you because you are getting your checks through other agencies
You are are encouraged to use the non-filers tool however you don’t have to

6. If you qualify for SSI or VA Benefits how do you get your check
You don’t have to file your taxes or use the online portals but it is highly encouraged to
The IRS is working with your agency to get the checks to you securely and quickly
However if you have a child you should use the non filers portal to get the additional $500 check for each child

7. SSI recipients (Supplemental security income)
You should receive your check within the first two weeks of May via direct deposit

8. Social Security Disability Payments or Social Social Security Retirement or Railroad Retirement Benefits
You should be getting your payments before the end of April

9. Errors
If you are inputting 0 for refund or amount paid you will not be able to get your status
Make sure to Check the get my payment tool every 25 hours
If you try tots check it less than 24 hours it is very likely that you just keep blocking yourself out
People are sure that they are inputting the correct info to the tool but they are still getting back an error saying that the status not available or that it can’t find your info
Get your actual tax forms because your cpa could be inputting the address incorrectly or even if it is one letter off you won’t be able to get into the portal
Status not available message:
you’re getting this message because you either aren’t eligible or because you recently filled out your taxes and the stem hasn’t processed and updated your info yet.

12. I briefly want to such on the new interim bill
The senate is going to be voting on it and if this goes through then the EIDL might start accepting more money for grants
This is the $1,000 payments for small businesses for each of your employees
