Описание: This is a piece is from a 16th century compilation by Robert Gordon called the Straloch manuscript. It is from a collection of pieces and I picked one to start a "musical journey" with. It is written for a 6 course Renaissance lute. I added (after the first repeated section) an "extension" which is my own writing. This is the first time I am writing in French tablature. I hope you will find it fun and enjoyable. Above all, maybe it will set your toes a-tappin' (BTW, I am guessing on the tempo marking here, it might be faster or slower, but I think it might be apt for the time period as they didn't rush as much as we do today!).
