Day 4 in Tasmania was the start of the riding portion of the AuStrom Suzuki V-Strom meetup. There were 2 group rides (dirt and sealed roads) heading from our previous night's accommodation in Stanley, into the wilderness of Tasmania's wild West Coast to the very scenic Tullah.

Due to wanting to hike up the Nut in Stanley (see my previous video), I took the sealed road ride which left later than the dirt route. This took us through the stunning Hellyer Gorge and Waratah on our way to Tullah Lakeside Lodge, which was our next night's accommodation deep in Tasmania's Wild West and Motorcycling Heaven!

In late February 2020 (only a week or so before Covid border closures and travel restrictions) we set off on Suzuki V-Stroms for a 3 week motorbike trip from South East Queensland to Tasmania and back. The reason for the trip was to meet fellow V-Strom owners from all over Australia in the Apple Isle and have some adventures. Lots of adventures! I rode 8000km on this 3 week trip, roughly 5000 getting to Tassie and back and 3000 on the island over 13 days there. Grinning with joy the whole time!
