Summary of the Notification (WBCHSE, dated 05/01/2026):

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has directed all Heads of Institutions to conduct Semester-II, Semester-I Supplementary, Practical, and Project Examinations for Class XI students (Academic Year 2025–2026) within March 2026, following Council norms. The marks must be uploaded on the Council’s online portal between 16 March 2026 and 13 April 2026 without fail.

All arrangements related to question papers, blank answer scripts, and evaluation are to be managed by the respective institutions themselves. Institutions are strictly advised not to procure or purchase question papers from any outside agency; instead, question papers should be set by the institution’s own subject teachers.

All concerned authorities are requested to take necessary action accordingly.
