I like to think of Marilyn Baker as a modern day Fanny Crosby. Blind from an early age, Marilyn has been gifted by God to write songs that are simple and singable but powerful at the same time. This particular piece was not written by Marilyn (it was written by Lou Lewis, nee Hayles) but it is the only recording I could find of one of my all-time favourite Easter songs. I met Marilyn once at a high school noon hour concert in England. She really held those students' interest with her music and testimony!
