There were no fatalities reported after eyewitness video captured a helicopter crashing into a pond in Rosporden, France, as it tried to scoop water to battle a fire on Sunday.
The pilot, the officer aboard the helicopter, and a witness were taken to a local hospital according to a statement by the local municipality.
Authorities immediately took measures to contain risk of pollution, Mayor Michel Loussouarn said in a statement on social media.
