Massive fire rips through slum in South Korea's Gangnam district

Around 300 residents had to be evacuated as firefighters and more than 100 vehicles battled the blaze. No casualties were reported.

The village, home to around 336 households and slated for high-rise redevelopment, has long been vulnerable due to its densely packed, flammable homes.
