Описание: (KUTV) Butterflies, twitches and tumbling motionsthese are just a few words pregnant women use to describe their babys first movements. So when should you start feeling these movements?Experts say pregnant women should feel their baby move around 22 weeks gestation. For some women, they may even feel the baby move before 22 weeks. At first, it may feel like butterflies, but as the baby grows, the movements should be more distinct.Julie Jones, a certified nurse midwife, says pregnant women should feel at least 10 movements per hour. The fetal movements, she says, are a way to monitor the babys well-being while in the womb.If the baby stops moving, Julie says you should sit down for an hour and count the number of fetal movements. If you still dont feel any movements, you should call your doctor, or go to the hospital. It could be a red flag that the baby is trying to alert mom that they are not growing very much. The placenta could be getting old prematurely. There may not be enough fluid around the baby, so the baby doesnt have the buoyancy, Jones says.
