The Love Actually deleted scenes actually have a lot to show us about how the full movie of Love Actually came to be. Love Actually brought us Christmas Is All Around, and the Love Actually cast are an exceptional bunch, but this Christmas holiday classic could have been a very different movie if we got the Love Actually Director's Cut.

Love Actually could have had singing Liam Neeson, Rowan Atkinson as an angel, the Love Actually airport scene could have had gymnastics, and the full movie would also have had much more Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman scenes (but the same amount of Hugh Grant – the Love Actually dance scene was never cut, nor was the Love Actually ending).

So as a Christmas, festive departure from the usual subject matter of my video essays and film criticisms, enjoy this light-hearted look at the Love Actually deleted scenes – and remember that Christmas Is All Around!
