The sand was being whipped into the air by a strong wind in Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana. A lovely Steenbok was approaching the waterhole with great caution. This small and delicate antelope is on the menu for just about all the decent-sized predators. The patterns on the ears are particularly striking. As the wind picked up, this spooked the Steenbok and it left the area at speed.
