On June 4, calling for a 'Satta Parivartan Yatra' (Journey for Change of Power) starting from Bijnor, Chandrashekhar Azad rallied his party workers across Western Uttar Pradesh. The rally was scheduled to commence today—June 4—with a public meeting in Bijnor; however, prior to the event, the police placed Chandrashekhar Azad, the National President of the Azad Samaj Party, under house arrest. Currently, the administration maintains that the party has not been granted permission for the yatra. A dialogue regarding this matter is currently underway between Chandrashekhar and the police administration. The Azad Samaj Party is launching this rally to celebrate the victory of its first Member of Parliament.
4 जून को चंद्रशेखर आजाद ने बिजनौर से सत्ता परिवर्तन यात्रा का आव्हान करते हुए पश्चिमी यूपी में अपने कार्यकर्ताओं का आव्हान किया. आज 4 जून को बिजनौर से सभा के साथ रैली की शुरूआत की जानी थी लेकिन उसके पहले ही आजाद समाज पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद को पुलिस ने हाउस अरेस्ट कर लिया. फिलहाल प्रशासन का कहना है कि यात्रा के लिए अनुमित पार्टी को नहीं दी गई है. इसको लेकर चंद्रशेखर और पुलिस प्रशासन के बीच बातचीत का दौर जारी है. आजाद समाज पार्टी अपने पहले सांसद के जीतने के उपलक्ष्य में ये रैला का आगाज़ कर रही है.
