Rangers and their supporters see themselves as a protestant institution. The club itself had an unwritten rule of never to sign a catholic player. The club discriminates against the irish and are an all round racist bunch. When they signed their first black player in 1987 their supporters sang "I'd rather be a darkie than a tim". We also see they sing the banned "Billy Boys", a racist anti-irish and catholic song which has no place in society. Most recently they chant the "Famine Song", condemned racist and anti-irish. American international Maurice Edu posted on his twitter that he felt sickened after being racially abused in the 4-1 defeat to Unirea. Fucking disgusting.

In the match against maccabi Haifa, an israeli team, in a prodominately jewish county, the supporters felt the need to wave nazi salutes at the home support, however got away with it claiming it was the "red hand of ulster" salutes. HOW FUCKING EMBARRESING IS THAT EXCUSE.

This leads me on pro-unionist, loyalist, northern irish, and British bigotry that the support is so deeply wrapped up in.
The supporters chant loyalist songs with ad-ons to "fuck the pope". They sing "the Sash my father wore" amongst countless others, you've just got to ask yourself why?. Why sing all these songs? i'll tell you why because there narrow minded scum. They have an affinity with northern ireland and have attached themselves to the troubles and support the loyalist cause, for the simple reason that the celtic fans have irish roots. Celtic was founded by an irish marist brother whom set the club up to help raise money for irish immigrants from ireland, displaced by the troubles and poverty. Celtic are a Scottish club with stong irish roots, we are proud of our irish roots, we wave the national flag with pride, we sing Irish songs with pride WE DO NOT SING I.R.A songs. Celtic supporters sing a mix of celtic songs, irish political songs and ultra songs. WE DO NOT SING SECTARIAN SONGS LIKE THE SCUM ACROSS THE CLYDE. CELTIC SUPPORTERS WERE AWARDED THE STATUS FOR BEING THE BEST SUPPORTERS IN THE WORLD FROM FIFA AND UEFA.
CELTIC SUPPORTERS ARE INNOCENT VICTIMS OF DISCRIMINATION IN GLASGOW.
