A Day In The Life of a Coding Bootcamp Student at Origin Code Academy

So my typical day, I head down here. We have a stand-up at 9 a.m. so I always try to get here sharp. During stand-up, we go around the room and we say what we'll be working on today and if we have any blockers.

After that, we have an exercise for about an hour. It's a code challenge, so it can be anything from building an app to a code war. And then we break into working individually.

Throughout the day, if you have a blocker and you can't work your way through it with all the different resources we have, then you have an instructor that you can go up to and they'll try to solve it with you.

On Fridays we have Magic Afternoon from three to five and it's always a fun group project. Yeah, we're in downtown San Diego, so there's always awesome restaurants and lots of fun things going on.
