Treating Hip flexors can be challenging, between strength and flexibility, sometimes you have got to free up those muscles and reduce their gaurding behaviour , which in many cases can lead to back pain and other compensations. Today we are addressing needling techniques for the psoas and Iliacus muscle which have independent insertions but share a common origin on the femur. Therefore, needling approaches are slightly different depending on your targets.
