Georgia Harrison has a frank conversation with Minister for Violence Against Women Jess Phillips about her experience of intimate image abuse and its devastating effects.
The government has made intimate image abuse a priority offence, as serious as selling weapons online, meaning platforms will have to take steps to proactively remove this material, as well as prevent it from appearing in the first place. If they fail to do so under this new law they could face fines.
This strengthening of the Online Safety Act will help reduce violence against women and girls on social media.
