Soochow University actively promotes the preservation and development of traditional Chinese culture on campus.
As part of the International Taijiquan Day 2026 celebration, students and faculty presented a group performance of Baduanjin (Eight-Section Brocade), a traditional Chinese Qigong exercise.
Baduanjin features smooth, coordinated movements that combine flexibility and strength, offering both physical fitness and wellness benefits. The synchronized performance reflects strong discipline, teamwork, and the vibrant spirit of university students.
