On Wednesday, CBIC member Sandeep Bhatnagar saying that in the last year the government did see fake invoices filed by businesses worth Rs 9000 cr. This is a huge revenue loss by the government and various measures like the electronic invoice as well as E-WayBill have been put in place to crackdown on the meanness of fake invoices.
