Airgun Hunting with the FX Dreamline Tactical .25 Air Rifle

Описание: I needed a break from both my day job and my airgun related tasks (editing videos and writing), so loaded up for an airgun hunt for squirrel in Wisconsin with the FX Dreamline Tactical .25 Air Rifle. My hunt overlapped the Rifle Deer Season and Blaze Orange was in effect, and I wondered how this would impact my ability to spot and stalk squirrels........ I felt like a neon spotlight was on me!

I have a few spots about three hours northeast from my home-base and got up at 4:00 to try to beat the sun into the field…… the sun won the race! However, I was still there early enough. I chased squirrels from about 7:30 to 10:30, bagged a few bushytails, then headed further north after snowshoe hares. Spoiler alert, I struck out.

I had a great session in the woods, enjoyed being out and on the move, and was very happy with my gear: the gun was dead accurate, excellent power for squirrels, quiet, light and easy to carry. The Hawke AirMax is an excellent optic, I’m just moving back to these scopes and appreciate the clarity and sharpness of images, and the uncluttered but fully featured reticle. The JSB Hades pellets are one of the best hunting pellets I’ve used, they shoot accurate out of most of my guns, including the Dreamline! And the Primos Polecats have become my favored rest in the field. Light, portable, fast to deploy and breakdown, they are a practical and very stable field rest.
