The Bony Finger
A dark figure steps from the night-lit brush
Finger to lips it calls for hush
And reaches forth a Boney finger
Twitches twice, beckoning Come hither, come hither.

Its head dips slightly to the side
Watching, waiting as you decide
Will you follow the stranger who claims to know
The steps in which you next should go.

But then you feel an icy shiver
You'd stepped once towards its bony finger
Somethings not quite right...
About this night.

Panicked turning back to run
Your car, that's from where you had come
But you're stuck. You cannot move, you cannot flee
Remember, you swerved too wildly, lost control. Hit a tree.

There's nowhere now for you to go
But towards the one who seems to know
So follow, follow the Boney finger
Into the arms of the old Grim Reaper.
