Snow Go (ツルピカの ゆきやま lit. Slippery Snow Mountain in Japanese) is the second level of the first warp room in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and the N. Sane Trilogy remaster of the second game. It is the first snow/ice level to appear in the game (and the series overall), and as such, parts of it are devoted solely to teaching Crash how to skate on various icy patches in the level. It is also the first appearance of nitro crates on the main path of a level, as they only appeared in the secret route in Turtle Woods. It also marks the first appearance of TNTs in this game. The red gem can be found in this level. The developers intended for the player to have to unlock this level's (considerably more difficult) secret entrance path in the sixth warp room by uncovering the secret exit in the stage Air Crash.

The bonus rounds that appear in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and later installments are all accessed by a special platform in a level. When Crash utilizes the platform, he will fall, be teleported or transported to a special section of a level that is similar to the level or warp room's theme. In these bonus rounds, Crash can collect additional wumpa fruit, lives, and smashed crate tallies. Crash must collect the crates in the bonus round in order to collect the clear gem at the end of the level.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is a platform video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation. It is the second game in the Crash Bandicoot series, and the sequel to the original game.

Taking place on a fictional group of islands near Australia, Crash Bandicoot 2 follows the adventures of the anthropomorphic bandicoot Crash. Crash is abducted by series villain Doctor Neo Cortex, who tricks him into thinking he wants to save the world. Crash is thrust into several parts of N. Sanity Island in order to gather Crystals that will allow Cortex to contain the power of an upcoming planetary alignment and keep the planet from being destroyed. Crash's sister Coco and Cortex's former assistant Doctor Nitrus Brio try to warn him about Cortex, with the latter urging Crash to gather gems instead of crystals.
