There are so many products that can instantly change the sound of your drum kit, for better or worse. Different types of drum heads are one of those things.

Since the late 1950s, Evans has consistently been at the forefront of synthetic drumhead innovation.

Dating back to 2016, Evans introduced the UV1 drumhead to the world. Now, nearly 10 years later, they’ve taken that same innovation and applied it to some of the most iconic bass drumheads in their lineup.

This particular one is the go-to EMAD 2, now with the UV coating.

It felt great to play at all three tunings and responded really well to additional dampening.
