Converted Jägerbüchse M/65 had bayonet lug and stock alteration to suit altered Mle. Sabre-baïonnette modèle 1866, as the Hirschfänger M/65 was issued for the Mauser .Jägerbüchse M/71 with bushed muzzle ring.
