Описание: How patio doors are repurposed / recycled into windows start to finish. Two patio doors bought locally for $150 in Northeast Pennsylvania USA. They look cool? I go over a lot of steps that were taken to install and finish this project.

I explain dealing with the doorknob and deadbolt holes. You need to install a frame on the outside and inside of the door to hold it in place. I explain the steps to complete it. I praise zip tape in this video like all my videos. Check the doors you buy locally for an oily looking substance in-between the glass. That means the seal has broken. You don't want doors that the seal of the double pane glass has broken. I explain the extension jambs and how to measure for the inside and out. I had a sill on the outside because there was room for one. There was room on the outside because of the exterior foam and furring strips that added thickness. I used 2" galvanized finish nails on the inside and out for the casing and extension jambs. This was in 2x6 framing. You can do this type of window in 2x4 framing but it's more difficult. Check out the job finished from the inside and out.
