2024 Military Agriculture Tour Showcases Career Opportunities for Veterans

Описание: Hillsborough County hosts a free bus tour of local agriculture businesses to provide active-duty members of the military, veterans, and their spouses an opportunity to explore career options in agriculture industries. The tour stops at a variety of Hillsborough County farming operations, supporting industries, and the University of Florida Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in southern Hillsborough County.

Attendees get the chance to meet with local farmers and agriculture researchers to discuss careers in agriculture industries. There is also an opportunity to hear from former veterans-turned-agribusiness professionals about how they utilized their skills to transition from the military to careers in agriculture.
