Hi folks, this is my heavy modded Leslie 770 with a homebrew tube amp based on the Fender Bassman AA864 circuit, with a bit of AB165 on preamp section, and some mods (PPIMV, channels bridge, coupling cap on the PI tube, etc..). Motors switching circuit is 100% home designed.
I just have finished the amp so this is the very first time it sounds!
The Leslie 770 is a 760 into a 122 cabinet. The main difference is that 760/770 models come with a solid-state amplifier whereas the 122 and 147 are equiped with a vacuum tube amp.
Since I have a tube amp, we can say my Leslie is just like a 122 with an integrated preamp ;)
No combo pedal needed if you play on clonewheel like I do. BTW I play on a Nord Electro 4 together with a Roland VR-09)
I recorded that video with my smartphone, so please apology for the very low quality (and the mess in our rehearsal room!)
