The TASIS School in Dorado is an independent, college-preparatory day school that has English as its primary language of instruction and actively embraces true bilingualism from PPK to Grade Twelve. Founded in 2002 and located 15 miles west of San Juan, TASIS Dorado is set among 20 verdant acres in the Sabanera Dorado neighborhood of Dorado. Interconnected buildings surround lush courtyards filled with trees and flowers. We believe that studying in a beautiful environment stimulates creativity, productive thinking, and positive relationships. The school serves 890 children from PPK to Grade Twelve. Approximately 70% of our students are born and raised in Puerto Rico and the majority speak Spanish at home; 23% are from the mainland U.S. and 7% are international. All students graduate with mastery in English, Spanish, and proficiency in French, Italian, or a computer programming language.
