Cricket fans around the world are eagerly waiting for the T20 World Cup Final between India and New Zealand. The highly anticipated match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 8. But one big concern remains — what if rain interrupts the final match?

According to ICC rules, special provisions have been made for the World Cup final. If rain disrupts the match on the scheduled day, the organizers have kept an extra 120 minutes to complete the game. If the match still cannot be completed, a Reserve Day on March 9 has been scheduled.

Unlike the semifinals where the team with a higher ranking could advance, the final has different rules. If the match is washed out even on the Reserve Day, both India and New Zealand will be declared joint winners and the trophy will be shared.

For a result to be declared, both teams must play at least 10 overs each. If the match stops midway on the first day, the game will continue from the same point on the Reserve Day.

Now all eyes are on the weather in Ahmedabad as millions of fans hope the final is decided on the field and not by rain.
