Описание: Shigmotsav festival began on Wednesday, with the first parade held at Ponda, showcasing the varied cultural and traditional aspects of Goa. The spring festival was celebrated with traditional music, song and dance. Large crowds lined up to witness the spectacular performances, effigies and with people dressing up as various mythological characters. A float parade with the effigies and characters found its way down the streets to the beats of traditional dhol, taasha and kasale.
