The fixtures are decided based on league-phase positions:

Teams are split into seeded and unseeded pairs

Seeded teams: positions 9–16

Unseeded teams: positions 17–24

Draw pairings:

9 or 10 vs 23 or 24

11 or 12 vs 21 or 22

13 or 14 vs 19 or 20

15 or 16 vs 17 or 18

Each seeded club is drawn against an unseeded club to complete the knockout phase play-off bracket.
