Описание: In September 2023, Alma walked into our basketball training session at Pure Basketball for the first time. She didn’t know how to handle the ball, lacked confidence, and during her first ever game outside our court, she was so nervous that she asked her coach, Coach David, not to put her in. She even told her teammates not to pass her the ball. Like many young athletes at the beginning of their journey, the game felt overwhelming.

But development in sport is rarely instant — it is built through patience, consistency, and the right environment. With the steady support of her parents and regular training with us at Pure Basketball, Alma continued showing up. Over time, her skills began to grow, her confidence improved, and the fear that once held her back slowly turned into belief.

Alongside her basketball training, Alma also worked on Speed and Strength with Coach Rob, helping her develop the physical capacity needed to move, compete, and perform with greater confidence on the court. Recently, her team returned to the same league where they once struggled and finished second place, losing the final by just one point after an incredible run where they remained undefeated until the last game.

Alma’s story is a reminder that real development takes time — and that confidence grows when young athletes are supported, challenged, and given the space to improve.
