Dominar 400 coolent issue | Explained and resolved | Coolent problem

Описание: I by mistake Said check your air filter to narrow down the problem at 5:30... Sorry it was Oil filter...I was in full Josh 😁


Coolant drains completely (somewhere between 800-1000km ) from the reservoir tank after top-up.
This problem started around ODO 9000km and now my ODO is 29600. Problem solved at 27600
During ride this is a big issue because we really don't know where exactly it is disappearing :(
There are possibility for it to mix with engine oil and damage your engine.

There are multiple reasons why coolent drains..

1. Your coolent motor seal is faulty
2. Your radiator pipes is faulty
3. Your radiator lid or its leaking somewhere in radiator
4. Your engine head gasket is weak
5. Split engine casing and applied some glue I and fixed it back suspecting leak somewhere in joints.
8. Something wrong with your engine


I got the fix from Khivraj Bajaj, Kasturba Road, Bangalore.

It has been a tough but beautiful journey for me..


I would like to share some experience here



Upgrading from Dio was a big challenge but in few days I was in love with it 


There certain things that Bajaj need to work on..

All Dominar are not the same...y...y did thing ... breaking is different in each bikes ..


Coolent problem which I went through and vibration is a big pain but I really would like to appreciate below mentioned people to solve it...(also opening your bikes engine is not fun...went through it 4-5 times)


1 Khivraj Bajaj, Kasturba road

Please please look into this

I am at odo 29000 km where the problem started at 9000 and fixed at 28000... please do something...I have 1000 km to laps my warranty but am scared with my experience and feel that I will come across this soon... kindly look into this... As other Dominar owners are also worried..


Having said all this...it's a premium Bajaj bike please work on their problems and get a fix...


Hope we will not go down like Himalayan...
