Commodore Amiga Longplay (SSI) Dragon Strike Knight of the Crown 1990

Описание: So this was a game i enjoyed quite a lot back in the day. The actual game, being 3D pushed the Amiga way beyond what it could do but Westwood did a fine job of mitigating the issues such as lowering terrain detail for stock Amiga's. The story telling is great and i think most of the artwork is spectacular and taken from official 2nd edition AD&D sources. The world of Krynn was very well received and in some cases was more popular than the Forgotten Realms staple product.
You fly the might "good" dragons, which are the "metallic" dragons being Bronze, copper, brass, silver, gold. The evil dragons are the "chromatic" dragons, ie being of five primary colours such as White, green, black, blue, and the mighty red dragons. There are other enemies you face such as wyverns and Sivaks, which are corrupted abominations of stolen silver dragon eggs.

This game essentially had 3 different paths and was more or less very linear. This play through is the Knight of the Crown stream which was really a cut down version of the whole game with 1 unique mission and a different ending on completion. You only get to fly the Bronze dragons (two different ones) and are equipped with the more basic weaponry. The other two paths would follow soon.

After about mission 4 i started over to the floppy version as my WHDload version wouldnt get past mission 4. All missions are included and only included once. Save states used but nothing else.

Of particular note, and true to AD&D style, every mission is considered gaining a level and you are awarded what appears to be 1D8 hit points. It can be good or bad as you can get one HP twice in a row and that sucks.
