Chasing Fireflies is an expression of my love for my father, who left us far too early, and my own wonder at the beauty of chasing fireflies in the twilight hours in North Carolina. Although I've lived most of my adult life in Colorado, I was born in Chapel Hill, and my summers in Chapel Hill and Brevard, and vacations to other parts of the state, are fond memories. I have a deep and abiding love for the state. This is my love song to North Carolina.
