Lebron's new shoe has caused an uproar and outrage amongst the masses. The shoe is supposed to honor Martin Luthor King Jr but it has corporate feel good politics and greedy consumerism written all over it.
I find the entire affair to be pretty shameless at best and morally bankrupt. There should be a limit to what is created for merchandise.
Matters of profound importance should not be monetized but that's impossible in this day and age.
I just hope the money gained from this goes to those who need it most.
