During the rainy season in a small, remote Hmong village, people were falling ill and dying one after another. No medicine or healer could cure them, and the villagers were growing more and more desperate. One day, a young girl became seriously sick, and the elders whispered that she had been possessed by a spirit. She lay weak in her bed, shivering and unable to move, while the heavy rain poured endlessly outside.
As night fell, the house grew silent except for the sound of the rain hitting the roof. Suddenly, a group of spirits appeared, surrounding her bed. She could feel their cold presence and hear their whispers, but she could not scream. The spirits lifted her gently yet firmly and carried her through the dark forest. The rain soaked her completely, and the wind howled around her as the forest seemed to swallow her whole. She could hear the distant cries of the village fading behind her, knowing she was being taken far into the unknown, guided only by the spirits in the stormy night. Hmong old story
