The POE 'Ruthless With Gold" event starts in a few days and whilst I expect it will be quite niche, it should also be a lot of fun. Ruthless is extremely stingy on loot, and while you'll be fine getting through the campaign other than one unexpectedly hard boss (Act 9, General Adus might take a few tries), you can make HUGE mistakes in the Atlas that set you back terribly.

You want to spend all your early points (at least your first 30, maybe even 50) on map sustain through masters.

Then focus on EXACTLY ONE of the 10 blockable mechanics, block the other nine, and optionally augment that one mechanic with other non-blockable mechanics like strongboxes, or additional support for some master missions.
