NORTH Wrestling Is MUST WATCH In 2026...

Описание: Hello everyone and welcome back to EMPIREPRO, or if you're new here, thank you for clicking on this video. Today I want to talk about my favourite wrestling promotion of 2025, Newcastle's own NORTH Wrestling.

After a stale year of WWE's copy and paste, flavourless booking, as well as AEW's incessant need for false finishes, blood and tediously long PPV's, NORTH provides a much needed alternative to all of that.

If you're a fan of high flying and fast paced action, NORTH has Jet Martial, Emersyn Jayne and Man Like DeReiss. If you're a fan of strong style hoss fights, NORTH has Trent Seven, Will Kroos and Rampage Brown. If you're a fan of alternative characters and looks, NORTH has 'Goth Boy' Joe Wade and Judas Grey. If you're a fan of women's wrestling, NORTH has Rhio, Alexxis Falcon and Natalie Sykes. If you're a fan of hardcore, ultraviolence, NORTH has Lou Nixon and Scotty Rawk... well anyway, you get my point.

And not to mention, the home grown talent that have used NORTH to propel their careers, none more notable than current TNA X-Division champion, Leon Slater. Leon was NORTH champion from July 2023 to July 2025, losing the title in the same venue he won it two years earlier, at ThunderStruck 3 (NORTH's big annual event) in the Walker Dome in Newcastle.

Even aside from the wrestling aspect, the community and togetherness of the NORTH faithful is infectious, and helps me particularly when my mental health is low. In a world full of toxic arguments and opinions, NORTH is a safe space for people to connect, enjoy great wrestling and storytelling, and build friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime.

But anyway, all the soppiness aside, let’s dive into the immersive world of NORTH wrestling, and just what exactly makes this promotion in the heart of Newcastle, England so special.

And in 2025, NORTH showed no signs of showing down, having some of their best shows, matches, storylines and even a BBC appearance. So let's take a look at why NORTH Wrestling was my Promotion Of The Year, in 2025. And maybe help you catch up on the year in review, heading into 2026...
