Tony Kart Cadet Project - Part 3 A

Описание: Since posting part 2 we have got in PLENTY of metric hardware, but also had some OEM part issues (thumb pic!) .

Long story short, these karts get upgrades and different parts over the span of its homologation (4-5 years). We had "Neos" bearing cassettes, but not the "version" that fit our chassis.... so, we have been swapping parts, shipping them in-n-out, waiting on backorders!

Our proper cassettes came in yesterday so here we are, rebuilding the brake Master & Caliper so we can start installing parts!!!

Of course, if we are shooting "par" we are gonna have more trouble. And, that trouble showed up as soon as I tried to bolt up the Caliper!! I have finally said Enough is Enough.... I'm just going to MAKE what I need to make these parts talk to one another! I had wanted a "Cookie Cutter" CIK kart for my nephew, but my patients have left the building. Buy, buy, buy......$$$$$ that's the answer to everything with these Italian CLONE karts!!!! Just BUY another part!!! Ugh!!!! Where is my cut off wheel??? Where is my welder??? Damn-it Man, get me a piece of scrap to make what I need!!!!!

I no longer care if it isn't exactly like the 1,000's of other "cookie cutter" karts at the track. He'll be fine, I'LL be fine, and together we will all be fine!!!!!

The engine package will be here next week, I still need to make 1 last parts order to get a few things to finish it off.

I have to keep reminding myself.... "It'll get better!!!"
