Situation:
The Russian National Truth Party is the latest in a series of reformist political groups aimed at stemming Russia's economic problems. The RNTP is headed by several former Soviet military hardliners who believe the solution to Russia's problems is a return to military rule. Their resounding defeat in the recent national election has only strengthened their resolve. Since a political solution did not work, the RNTP have chosen a more direct approach.

Three days ago the RNTP went into action. With the aid of key military units in the Russian Far East, RNTP forces seized control of bases on Sakhalin Island and southern portions of the Kamchatka peninsula. Bolstered by their immediate success, RNTP units took up positions on the Kurile islands, effectively blockading the Sea of Okhotsk. With its foothold in the East secured, the RNTP is making its demands known: Recognition of the Russian Far East as a sovereign nation under the leadership of the RNTP.

Moscow has been quick to denounce the RNTP as a terrorist organization. Working with loyal commanders in the East, Russian Federation forces have established an operating base near Ozernovskij. 300 squadron has been deployed to the area to help put down the rebellion and retake the East.

Mission:
300 Squadron is ordered to fly a combat air patrol in the vicinity of Ozernovskij.

Execution:
Take off from Ozernovskij and patrol the area to the north. The rules of engagement dictate that any RNTP air forces encountered are to be destroyed.

Expected Enemy Forces:
The 247th Air Recon Regiment has identified RNTP held airfields at Malka and Kronoki. They are believed to be the home of several MiG-29 and SU-27 squadrons.

Allied Support:
Air unit 900, an A50U airborne warning and control aircraft, will be orbiting the area over Ozernovskij. 900 will serve as your combat controller.
