The Municipality of Gabaldon in Nueva Ecija is celebrating the town's sustained bountiful produce in its 10th annual harvest fest dubbed the Gulayan Festival in January 16 to 29, 2023.
Started in 2012, the good harvest festival exhibits the rich cultural traditions and natural resources of Gabaldon. Locals showcase the native produce of the town through colorful parade floats creatively decorated with vegetables such as eggplants, tomatoes and onions, as well as fruits and handcrafted ornaments.
Watch Bagting Elementary School—one of the participating schools in the annual Gulayan Festival Street Dancing Competition offer their dance production to St. Paul the Apostle. The dance highlights the theme, “Moving forward through faith, hard-work, and resilience.”
The dance number of Bagting Elementary School focuses on moving forward, leaving the marks that the COVID-19 Pandemic scarred upon the Gabaldonians in the past 2 years. Watch as they perform, thank, and honor God for the bountiful harvest He has caused for the past years.
