First race, first big problem & we got caught in a lightning storm!! I-75 & Tri-County Racetrack

For our first race weekend with the new Warrior dirt late model we headed to I-75 Raceway in Niota, Tennessee, to race with the Southern All Star Series.
We immediately ran into an electrical issue with the Right Front brake shut off system, which put us behind the 8-ball and once you are behind the 8-ball at a super late model race it is really tough to recover from.
That night we headed for Brasstown, North Carolina, to race with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series at Tri-County Racetrack.
After re-prepping the car everyone in the pit area was caught in an extremely heavy lightning storm. The track was submerged and the night's event cancelled.
It was a bummer to get rained out, but we will be hitting the track again very soon to race with the Southern Nationals at Toccoa on July 22nd!
